NOTES

Bald Eagles are considered a problem in Maine where they predate the nests of the state-threatened Great Cormorant. There is concern that predation from Bald Eagles will result in the extirpation of Great Cormorants from Maine in the very near future (Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, 2016).
