Where known or observed, associated species are listed for a taxon, along with the type of association. Examples of ecological associations include:

  • Nitrogen-fixing Symbiont - Host to Nitrogen-fixing Symbiont
  • Gall Maker - Plant Host
  • Epiphyte - Host/Substrate
  • Disease Vector - Pathogen carried by Disease Vector
  • Pollinator - Food Provider
  • Endosymbiont - Host
  • Plant Disperser - Food Provider
  • Competitor
  • Protector - Food Provider

Where available, a reference is provided describing the association and/or a photograph is displayed showing the associated species together.
